Experience and Education

Katelyn leads execution for all of Mariner Wealth Advisors’ inorganic growth opportunities. She oversees the legal deal team as well as the internal and external program management for all advisor teams and acquisitions joining the firm through inorganic growth efforts.

Prior to becoming the vice president and lead acquisition counsel for corporate development and strategy, she served as senior regulatory counsel for the compliance department. Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, Katelyn was an attorney at a private practice in Dallas.

Katelyn has a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication and public relations and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Washburn. She also obtained a certificate in business and transactional law.
